What information we collect, use, and why

Visitors to our website

Where you have accepted non-essential cookies, we collect the following data:

  • Analytics data (via Google Analytics): anonymised website usage information such as pages visited, time on site, browser type, and device type. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
  • Affiliate click data (via Awin): when you click an affiliate link on our site, pseudonymised data such as a click identifier and timestamp may be shared with Awin, our affiliate network, to attribute any resulting transaction. This data does not identify you personally.

Both types of data are collected only with your consent (see our Cookie Policy for details). No personal data is collected from website visitors unless you choose to email us, in which case we will receive any information you provide (such as your name, email address, and the content of your message).

Email signups for our mailing list

If you sign up to download our free guide or to receive helpful updates, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • The page or placement you signed up from (so we can understand which content is most useful)
  • Which lead magnet or guide you requested

We use this information to send you the guide, a short welcome sequence of practical emails, and occasional helpful updates. Our lawful basis is your consent, given at the point of signup. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing us.

Email delivery and list management is handled by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, based in France), who act as our processor. Your email address is stored on Brevo’s infrastructure and is not shared with anyone else. We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed; if you unsubscribe, your data is removed from active lists.

Under UK data protection law, we must have a “lawful basis” for collecting and using your personal information. There is a list of possible lawful bases in the UK GDPR. You can find out more about lawful bases on the ICO’s website.

Which lawful basis we rely on may affect your data protection rights which are set out below. You can find out more about your data protection rights and the exemptions which may apply on the ICO’s website.

If you make a request, we must respond to you without undue delay and in any event within one month.

To make a data protection rights request, please contact us using the contact details at the top of this privacy notice.
